Reviews What they said about Rekindled: RadioIndy is pleased to present Lo Torc with a GrIndie Award for the CD "Rekindled" If you like to hear albums that contain different styles of music you’ll want to listen to “Rekindled” by Lo Torc. When you take distinct music genres such as soft rock, jazz, blues, country, and funk and merge them into one album you’ll get a whole new world of music. Vocals are sung with clarity and style to which the music was written for. The general quality of the album is clean and well-produced. Try a little funk with some syncopated rhythms and soulful harmonies in “Sexy Lady.” Creativity in incorporating the usage of different instruments throughout this collection is a great embellishment. If you’re into the big band sounds, take a listen to “I Need a Cuppa Joe” and “I Need You” as the horn section blows out catchy fills in riffs. For fans of soft rock, jazz, blues, country, and funk, “Rekindled” by Lo Torc will be very much enjoyed. |
What Pitbull Records said about Gotta Make A Move: This album surprised us. Most indy records sound more amatuer-ish than most of the songs on this record. The big boys do very few songs as good as "Gotta Make a Move" and "Runaway Lover". Other artists may be more popular, but Lo Torc's talents are a match with anyones of this genre. Definate must buy for serious music lovers. We give it a Dog Gone Good rating! |
What DJ Wick Wick Joe from Kuala Lumpur,Maylasia said about the song Gotta Make a Move: "Gotta Make a Move" is terrific! It reminds me of old school rock from the days when rock was good. They love it here at the club so thanks for the track. |
